Under Namami Gange project, the second aquatic center of the state is being built in Sarnath Zoo at a cost of Rs 25 lakh. The first aquatic center is in Kanpur. After its completion, the zoo will have its own centre, where every information related to animals and birds will be kept. Along with this, the villages situated on the banks of Ganga will be developed. The items made by the villagers will be sold. Besides, the goods made by them will be sold to the guests visiting the zoo. Some minimum amount will be kept for this. So that everyone can buy their goods.

Forest Department official said that it is being built under the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and WII project. The team present at the Jalaj stall will educate people about the importance of the products and how they are all environment friendly. These products will be manufactured by the local community keeping in mind environmental protection and conservation of biodiversity.
